BLINN SBDC HOSTING QUICKBOOKS WORKSHOP THURSDAY

  

The Blinn College Small Business Development Center will host an all-day advanced QuickBooks workshop tomorrow (Thursday) in Brenham.

The hands-on workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the A.W. Hodde Jr. Technical Education Center, at 2910 South Blue Bell Road.

The workshop’s objective is to teach small business owners to get the most from their accounting software.  It is designed for those who have completed the basic course or already have experience using QuickBooks.  The course will not teach the online version of the software.

Topics include customer job lists, estimates, progress invoices, job costing, billing for time and costs, customizing invoices, payroll, budgets, multiple sales tax items, inventory adjustments, and memorized transactions.

Registration is $100, and is available online at www.blinn.edu/sbdc.  Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.
