BURTON CITY COUNCIL MEETING POSTPONED AFTER MAYOR SELF-QUARANTINES DUE TO COVID-19 EXPOSURE

The Burton City Council has postponed its meeting scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday) after Mayor David Zajicek was exposed to a positive COVID-19 case.

According to City Secretary Angela Harrington, Zajicek has self-quarantined after being exposed to someone who has been confirmed to have the virus.

The meeting has been postponed to next Tuesday, November 17th at 5:30 p.m.

  1. We wish him a favorable recovery.
    It was preventable, but he has repeatedly said that he refuses to wear a mask for political reasons.
    Now he has a medical and social reason to do so.
