CHAPPELL HILL PREPARING FOR INAUGURAL BEER, MUSIC AND WINE FESTIVAL

The community is invited to come out to downtown Chappell Hill this weekend for the first “Beer, Music and Wine Festival”.

Hosted by the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce, the festival is set for Saturday from noon to 8 p.m.  An afternoon of dining, drinks, shopping, and music is in store.

Chappell Hill Chamber President John Wick said the festival was created to give the public an end-of-summer event to enjoy.

Wick said there will be large evaporative cooling fans from Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative and a misting tent to help people cool off quickly.  He also said the afternoon of activities is free for the public.

The festival’s music lineup features the Black Cat Choir, Aaron Loesch and the Jeff Jacobs Band.
