COMMISSIONERS TO CONSIDER OIL AND GAS EXPLORATION ITEMS

A number of oil and gas exploration items are on the agenda for next week’s County Commissioners meeting.  Commissioners will consider a temporary water line for GeoSouthern Energy Partners along Latium Cemetery Road and Wickel Road.  They will also consider a temporary water line for Enervest Operating Company along Upshaw, North Haupstrasse, Koether, Moye and Bascome Roads in Precinct 4.  Commissioners will also look at approving a natural gas pipeline crossing of Gerland Road and Hodde Road.

Commissioners will consider approving and intern from Blinn College to work with Justice of the Peace Precinct 3 Judge Ken Tofel. They will hear the quarterly report from the Washington County Chamber Convention and Visitors Bureau and the annual report from the Washington County EMS.

Also on Tuesday’s agenda, commissioners will hear a presentation from the Boys and Girls Club and recognize a recent cardiac arrest survivor from Washington County.  A workshop session is scheduled after the regular meeting for the commissioners to hear a presentation from Tyler Technologies on the ExecuTime software.  The workforce management software is used by city and county governments for scheduling and time management of their employees.

Commissioners Court meets Tuesday at 9:00 AM at the Washington County Courthouse.
