COVID-19 RELIEF FUND DELIVERS GRANTS TO TWO LOCAL EFFORTS
The Brazos Valley COVID-19 Community Relief Fund has announce the grant recipients for Phase I Round II of funding, which includes several local entities.
During this round of funding, the Relief Fund is granting $222,400 to four nonprofits for programs to help Brazos Valley residents and 17 small businesses to assist with payroll or rent.
Phase I Round II nonprofit grant recipients of the Brazos Valley COVID-19 Community Relief Fund include:
- Faith Mission and Help Center, Inc.
- Bridge Ministry of Burton Texas
- Boys & Girls Club of the Brazos Valley
- St. Vincent de Paul Society of Bryan-College Station
The review committee will continue to review applications from Phases I and II, and will make further grant award announcements late next week. Grant recipients are being contacted via email with further instructions on claiming their grant funds.
As of Apr. 10, the Brazos Valley COVID-19 Community Relief Fund has granted a total of $432,700 to eight nonprofits and 31 small businesses impacted by COVID-19 response and containment efforts.
