DRIVE-THRU COVID-19 TESTING RETURNING TO WASHINGTON CO. FAIRGROUNDS THURSDAY; SIGN-UP OPENS WEDNESDAY
Anyone who missed Sunday’s drive-thru COVID-19 testing at the Washington County Fairgrounds will have another opportunity to get tested this week.
At today’s (Tuesday) Washington County Commissioners Court meeting, County Judge John Durrenberger said organizers of Sunday’s drive-thru test collection site will return to the Fairgrounds on Thursday after a good turnout on Sunday. According to Durrenberger, 108 people received tests out of the 120 possible.
Thursday’s testing site will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the same as Sunday. Applicants can begin registering at 8 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday) morning by calling 512-883-2400, or going online to www.txcovidtest.org.
Those who complete the questionnaire today will be scheduled for a different county’s testing site. Applicants wishing to get tested at the Washington County testing site need to wait until 8 a.m. tomorrow morning to apply.
Applicants will be notified of the time and location of their appointment once their application is accepted. Identification is required. Transportation to and from the location is the applicant’s responsibility, and applicants must remain in their vehicle during the test collection.
Priority will be given to individuals with active symptoms, but those looking to be tested regardless of symptoms are still encouraged to call or go online and complete the questionnaire. Durrenberger said those without symptoms can still get tested if there are vacant spots left from priority applicant registration.
Not all applicants are guaranteed to be tested.
has anyone heard of any results
They called me last Sunday! You should have recieved a recorded call.
What are y all doing to this town? Do your research! These tests aren’t accurate and hospitals are getting large incentives for reporting deaths and cases as Coronavirus when they don’t even have it!!!
