HOUSTON BRASS BAND TO PERFORM SATURDAY AT FESTIVAL HILL
Brass music enthusiasts can circle Saturday on their calendar, as a famous brass band will take the stage in Round Top.
The Houston Brass Band will perform at the Festival Concert Hall at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Led by Houston Symphony trumpeter Robert Walp, the band will perform a lively and entertaining program of British brass band music.

John Parker, Houston Symphony Associate Principal Trumpet, will show his talent in the Concerto for Trumpet by Oskar Boehme, newly arranged for the brass band by Paul Wright. Rounding out the program will be Viennese favorites, including Pizzicato Polka, arranged for brass band.
Tickets for Saturday’s performance are $25 for adults and $10 for students for general seating. There are also reservations available for a buffet-style lunch at 12:45 p.m. in the Menke House Dining Hall.
