SIX ARRESTED IN EARLY MORNING DRUG OPERATION IN BRENHAM

Six local residents have been taken into custody on drug charges after an early-morning operation between the Brenham Police Department and Department of Public Safety.

At around 5:00 this (Wednesday) morning, authorities executed a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of East Germania, just off South Market Street.

Taken into custody were: 48-year old Franklin Tanner, 57-year old Jeffrey Vacha, 49-year old Candy Robinson, 46-year old Carmen Ramirez, 35-year old Lee Ann Leverett and 49-year old Carrie Craig, all of Brenham

According to police, the search warrant was based off a narcotic investigation conducted by the Brenham Police Crime Reduction Unit.  The investigation indicated that the occupants of the residence were distributing methamphetamines.

All six were taken into custody during the warrant service on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver in a Drug Free Zone—a First-Degree Felony.

All were taken to the Washington County Jail.

  1. Wonderful news! I hope this pattern continues….forget “start little go big”, just take them systematically and prosecute the heck out of them!

      1. John sound you are right about that and I really don’t think the ones that were not saleing should be charged for that ,but because the others were in the house they have to face the consequence also.It was said that when they done body search they didn’t find anything on them It was all in house. And that one person that was saling the drugs should have fessed up instead of making everyone else go through what they have already gone through. I just hope that when they do go to court that person that was saling the drugs will be the bigger person and speak up.

        1. Maybe only one person was selling the drugs or maybe not. Mind the company you keep. God bless our country. The devil is afoot and we have to say no, I rebuke you.

      2. Yep. Be mindful of who you hang out with. This has always been important. If the people you’re hanging out with are doing bad things, quit hanging out with them. Simple, eh?
