Thursday afternoon, about 3:45 p.m., the president’s caskets will arrive by train in College Station, accompanied by family and close friends.
The train will begin in Spring, traveling through Todd Mission, Navasota, and Wellborn before arriving in College Station. It will unload at the stop at Wellborn Road and George Bush Drive. The funeral procession will travel on George Bush Drive toward the Bush Library Complex.
Some areas of the Texas A&M campus will be closed in the days leading up to the burial, while all of campus will be closed the day of the burial.
The gravesite will be open to the public beginning Saturday.
The George H.W. Presidential Library Foundation has set up a phone bank that will be open through Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., for anyone to extend condolences and answer questions about the funeral service.
