SYNAGOGUE IN FINAL STAGES OF MOVING

  

The B’nai Abraham Synagogue in Brenham is about to find a new home, after being in its present home since 1893.

The Synagogue is currently located right outside of the downtown Brenham square on N. Park Street,

Preparations continued Sunday for the move, with the roof being removed with the rest of the building being moved separately.

The insides of the building, including the Torah Scrolls and prayer books have already been moved, and the building is its final preparation for moving to the Dell Jewish Center in Northwest Austin.

The project is slightly behind schedule due to permit conflicts and other issues but those issues have been resolved.
