TRAFFIC STOPS LEAD TO TWO WEEKEND POSSESSION ARRESTS

Two people were arrested on marijuana possession charges in separate local traffic stops over the weekend.
Saturday night, just before 11:30, police conducted a traffic stop near the 1800 block of US Highway 290 West.
44-year-old Dustin Daigle of Jennings, Louisiana was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Sunday night, just before 10:30, police stopped a vehicle near the 500 block of US Highway 290 East.
An investigation led to the arrest of 35-year-old Terrance Daniels of Round Rock.
Daniels was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
