TRIAL FOR ROBBERY SUSPECT TO BEGIN MONDAY IN BRENHAM
Jury selection is set to get underway, Monday morning for a high-profile robbery case in Brenham.
Potential jurors have been called to the Washington County Court House in the case of 28-year old Jamarcus Maurice Andrews.
Andrews is accused of robbing the Dairy Queen on South Market Street on Memorial Day of last year, making off with about $400 cash.
The robbery was captured on the store’s surveillance cameras and Andrews was arrested several days later.
Andrews’ bond was originally set for $250,000, but was reduced several times on the conditions of House Arrest and GPS monitoring.
No one was injured in the incident.
