The Brenham Activist Association will have their Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Candlelight Vigil, on Monday, January 16th, starting at 6 o’clock at the gazebo on the Washington County courthouse square.  The guest speaker will be Rev. Fred Marshall, Pastor of the Independent Missionary Baptist Church in Brenham.  The community is invited to attend.

Main Street Brenham’s 11th annual winter wine walk is set for January 14, 2023 from 3 to 7 p.m.  Thirty-three businesses and locations will be open and offering a variety of wines for visitors to enjoy as they stroll from shop to shop.  “Uptown Swirl” tickets are now on sale at participating locations and online at www.downtownbrenham.com/swirl.  …
