AUSTIN COUNTY AG STUDENT PRESENTED WITH $500 SCHOLARSHIP

  

Ty Murray, the son of  an Austin County Sheriff’s Office Investigator, was presented a $500 scholarship on November 25^th to continue his education.

Murray is a Junior at Texas A&M, in College Station, and is pursuing a career in agriculture. He is the son Brad Murray and Elizabeth Murray.

Austin County Sheriff Jack Brandes said that, “The fact that this young person is attending college and will be making a positive impact in our society is wonderful. He is certainly an excellent role model for all young people in our county.  It’s a great thing that people all the way up to Austin, Texas honors someone from our county!”
