PEACE OFFICER MEMORIAL SERVICE WEDNESDAY IN DOWNTOWN BRENHAM
Washington County law enforcement officials will honor fallen officers at a memorial observance on Wednesday.
the Washington County Courthouse during a
memorial service for fallen peace officers on May
20, 2022.
The Washington County Peace Officers Association will host the service at 10 a.m. on the north side of the courthouse square in downtown Brenham. The public is invited to attend.
The service will open with a prayer, the presentation of flags and the Pledge of Allegiance. Organizers will then read the names of officers in Texas who died in the line of duty in 2023.
The observance will conclude with a wreath presentation and the playing of “Taps”.
