BHS THEATRE GROUP TO PERFORM 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE

  

The Brenham High School theatre department will be performing the musical comedy “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” in the high school’s Black Box Theatre with opening night set for this Thursday at 7:00 p.m.  The shows will run each night through Saturday, December 10th. 

The show takes place in the fictional Putnam Valley Middle School and portrays six quirky adolescents in the spelling bee run by three equally quirky adults.  The show also calls for audience participation in the actual spelling bee who may be called up by the actors.

The Black Box Theatre has limited seating and the audience is encouraged to arrive early for 7 p.m. seating each evening.  Tickets are $8.00 each for the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
