BLUE BELL AQUATIC CENTER TO UNDERGO RENOVATION
The Blue Bell Aquatic Center will be undergoing a renovation starting August 15th.
The process will include installing new carpet throughout the facility. Tile will be replaced between pool doors, the locker rooms and concessions stands. The front desk will undergo much needed repair.
The demolition and installation will take an estimated 14 days to complete. The project is set to begin August 15th and estimated to finish August 29th.
Due to the demolition, the competition pool and therapy pool will be closed. During this time, the aquatic center will only have the leisure pool open on the weekends. The pool hours will be: Saturdays from 10a.m.-5p.m. and Sundays from 1p.m.-5p.m.
Residents are encouraged to visit the aquatic center before the renovations begin.
With the end of summer so near, could they not have put off this construction until then?
Once school starts, the junior high and high school swim teams will need the competition pool for class daily.
