BLUE BONNET ELECTRIC WORKING TO RESTORE POWER TO MEMBERS

Blue Bonnet Electric is reporting that as of Monday evening, 700 members are still without power after a round of thunderstorms rolled through the area Monday morning.

According to Will Holford of Blue Bonnet Electric, crews worked through the evening, and hoped to have full power restored around midnight.

Holford says that most outages were the result of downed or broken power lines caused by toppled trees or broken limbs, and those limbs and trees must be removed before repairing a power line.

He goes on to say that he knows that it was a long and inconvenient day for members without power, and that he appreciates their patience and understanding during that time.
