BRENHAM EDUCATORS PREPARING FOR GAME CHANGERS TRAINING

Teachers and staff at the Brenham School district are preparing themselves for the Game Changers Leadership Training this summer

The Brenham School Board recently approved funding for this Conference. The training is provided by The Flippen Group. Over 150 local educators will be trained in this program this summer. The Washington County Chamber of Commerce will be offering an opportunity for local businesses and civic leaders on Wednesday, April 30 at a workshop at Blinn College. Assistant Brenham School Supt. Byron McAdams says the Game Changers program gets young people more enthusiastic about school and all the possibilities they have there but he says they must also ‘capture kid’s hearts.’ That’s a critical point they will be learning during this Game Changers Training.

The Brenham School Board agreed to fund $25,000 of this training at their February board meeting.

The Flippen Group wants to develop a better relationship between faculty and students by ‘capturing kid’s hearts.’
