BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT
On Saturday around 5pm, the Brenham Fire Department responded for Automatic Mutual Aid with Salem FD to the area of FM 3456 and Pieper Rd. for a smoke investigation.
Upon arrival, Salem FD units found a control burn in the area and canceled BFD units.
On Sunday around 5pm, the Brenham Fire Department responded for Automatic Mutual Aid with Chappell Hill FD for a report of a grass fire at 4150 Caney Creek Rd. in Chappell Hill. Upon arrival, Chappell Hill FD units found a power line that was down over the roadway and a small grass fire that was spreading quickly.
BFD assisted Chappell Hill with extinguishing the fire. Once the fire was contained BFD unit were released by Chappell Hill FD units.
