BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULTING FIANCEE

  

A Brenham man faces several charges, including Assault Family Violence, after his arrest Tuesday afternoon.

Just before 4:30 p.m., Officer Andy Adams and Corporal David Dudenhoeffer responded to the 500 Block of West Third St., in reference to a reported assault.

Authorities say 27-year old Fechai Christian Ogenio  reportedly punched his fiancée several times in the face, causing a bloody nose and other facial injuries.

Police say as Ogenio was being taken into custody he resisted arrest and several officers had to secure him in the patrol unit for transport to the Washington County Jail.

Ogenio is charged with:  Assault Causes Bodily Injury to a Family Member and Resisting arrest, search, or transport.  Both charges are Class A Misdemeanors.
