BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH D.W.I.
A Brenham man faces charges after a traffic stop for reckless driving.
47-year old Mario DeJesus Argueta is charged with Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Container.
Saturday afternoon around 4:30, Sgt. Seth Klehm responded to a reckless driver call and located the vehicle in the 3000 block of Highway-36 north.
Klehm says he could smell the odor of alcohol on Argueta’s breath and he was unsteady on his feet. An open container of alcohol was located in the center console of the truck.
Klehm attempted to administer a field sobriety test which he says Argueta refused to perform.
Argueta was arrested.
