BRENHAM P.D. INVESTIGATING THEFTS

  

Brenham Police are investigating a pair of thefts reported Wednesday.

Just after 12:30 p.m., Officer Hunter Andras met with a man at the Brenham Police Department.

The man stated he had taken his boat engine to be repaired in July and was notified by the repairman on Aug. 4 that the engine had been stolen.

The engine was valued at approximately $3,000.

Then, around 7 p.m., Officer Jonathan Phipps responded to the 2400 block of Dillon St.

The caller said they had just returned from vacation and noticed silver trim missing from one of their vehicles.

The trim was valued at approximately $1,000.

Both incidents are under investigation.
