UPDATE – CASE DISMISSED – CHAPPELL HILL MAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON

  

Update 12-13-2017 - The Washington County District Attorneys Office reports that this case was dismissed.

A Chappell Hill man was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon after an incident Tuesday morning.  Brenham Police report that they responded to the 300 block of Paul Street in reference to a subject in a vehicle, who had a gun.  Officer Lance Weiss was able to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s vehicle in the area of Fireman’s Park and made contact with the driver.  The driver admitted to having a weapon in the vehicle and being in the area of the original call.  The victim reported that the suspect made a threat while displaying a firearm in their direction.  Officer Ashley Burns took the suspect, Chad Williams Eberly into custody for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
