COMMISSIONERS TO HEAR PUBLIC COMMENTS ON 2015 PROPOSED TAX RATE
The Washington County Commissioners will hear public comment and discussion regarding the Washington County 2015 proposed tax rate when they meet next Tuesday.
The proposed tax rate is $.5211 per $100 dollar valuation.
The commissioners will also discuss and act upon the approval to replace a current member of the Criminal Justice Advisory Committee. The name of the candidate being considered is available at County Judge John Brieden’s office.
Also on the agenda is to proclaim September 3rd through October 29th as “The Washington County Read.” The READ is a group of volunteers who have been bringing outstanding speakers and classes to the Washington County area since 2002.
The Commissioners meet in the court chambers at the Washington County Courthouse.
