KOLKHORST GETS PARTY CHAIR SUPPORT

  

The campaign for Lois Kolkhorst’s bid for State Senator has announced the endorsements of 13 Republican Party County Chairs.

Governor Rick Perry has declared December 6^th as the date for the special election for a successor to Glen Hager, the current District 18 State Senator, who has been elected State Comptroller.

Kolkhorst says she’s excited about the endorsements from over half of the county chairs in Senate District 18.  Kolkhorst says she’s working hard for every vote in this special election, and is thrilled to have their support.

Among the 13 county chair proclaiming their support of Kolkhorst are:   Helen Hink of Washington County; Michael Skrivanek of Austin County; Samuel Johnson of Burleson County; Pam Moore of Colorado County; David Stall, Fayette County; and Ann Davis of Waller County.

Senate District 18 includes all or parts of 21 counties.

Richmond businessman Gary Gates has also announced his plans to run for the Senate seat.
