KWHI TO AIR GIRL SCOUT PROGRAMS DURING NEWSCAST
This week is National Girl Scout Week, and KWHI 1280 will be airing programs by local Girl Scouts speaking about their past and future activities and plans.
The programs will air beginning today and running through Friday, March 14 at during the morning news 7:48am and during the evening report around 5:25pm.
The Girl Scout Birthday on March 12 commemorates the day in 1912 when Juliette Gordon Low officially registered the organization’s first 18 girl members in Savannah, Georgia. This year, 2015, represents the organization’s 103rd birthday.
