LIFETIME LEARNING TO HOLD PRESENTATION BY PROMINENT ATTORNEY

  

Lifetime Learning will present prominent attorney Don Ervin here Thursday, March 26.

Ervin will present “Trials that Made Headlines.” It will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Blinn College Student Center banquet room.

Ervin has been a criminal trial lawyer for more than 35 years, and will discuss some of the high profile trials and people he has represented, including Charles Harrelson, who was charged with the murder of San Antonio Judge John Woods, and involved in cases such as Branch Davidian Derrick Lovelock, survivor of the fire at the Branch Davidian fire, and televangelist Jim Bakker.

Ervin’s cases have included felonies and misdemeanors resulting in acquittals in trial and reversals on appeal in state and federal courts.

Ervin has offices in Houston and Brenham. He and his wife Jancy live in Washington County.

The program fee is $22 and the registration deadline is March 20.
