MODEL RAILROAD OPEN HOUSE TO BE HELD THIS WEEKEND

  

The Brazos Valley model railroad enthusiast will be holding an open house this weekend to show off their model railroad displays.

National Model Railroad Month has been going on for 8 years, with the model railroad open house is a big part of the celebration.

There will be four displays in Bryan, College Station and Navasota, open between the hours of 10am to 6pm on Saturday, and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.

Chuck Lind, whose home display at 3680 County Road 324 in Navasota is part of the open house, said 160 to 180 people who generally visit each stop. The open house will include accurate railroad layouts from the Santa Fe, Pacific Northwest and California Foothills railroads. 

Other model railroad displays on the tour are: 

• The B-CS Model Train Society, Bonham Park in Bryan. 

• Pat and Carl Lester, 4902 Bay Oaks Court in College Station. 

• Agtrak by Paul Patti and Charlie Gilber, 4279 Bentwood in College Station.
