NORMANGEE MAN DEAD AFTER ONE CAR ACCIDENT NEAR MADISONVILLE

  

A 40 year old Normangee man is dead after a fatal accident near Madisonville, Saturday morning.

Around 10am on Saturday morning, Bradley Mackens lost control of his truck while driving along Highway 190 and struck a tree.

Mackens was killed. His wife Jessica and 12 year old son, Joseph were also in the vehicle. Jessica sustained serious injuries and Joseph, life-threatening injuries. Both were transferred to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston where they are currently being treated.

DPS Trooper, Jimmy Morgan says that no one in the truck was wearing a seat belt.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
