TRAIN DERAILS IN LEE COUNTY
A train derailed near Dime Box in Lee County this morning.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, the train went off the tracks at the Union Pacific bridge over County Road 430 around 8 a.m. Nineteen cars derailed in the accident, but all were empty.
There have been no injuries reported and it does not appear to be a hazardous situation for nearby residents or businesses.
The Lee County Office of Emergency Management asks that the public avoid the area.
