TWO ARRESTED ON SEPARATE ASSAULT CHARGES IN BRENHAM

  

A Brenham man faces an assault charge after his arrest this weekend.

22-year old Dontavious Hubert was arrested at his residence Saturday morning.

Police had been called to the home in the 1400 block of Simon St. Friday night, where a woman says Hubert assaulted her.

Hubert had left the residence by the time police had arrived – he was arrested the next morning.

Hubert is charged with Assault—Family Violence and Possession of Marijuana.

Also arrested on an assault charge is 29-year old Gilberto Jimeniz-Soto of Brenham.

Jimeniz-Soto was wanted on an assault warrant issued in February by the Brenham Municipal Court.

He was arrested after he and another man were seen walking in the wrong direction in the 2000 block of Old Chappell Hill Road, Sunday.
