SENIORS DAY AT SCOTT AND WHITE
The 17th Annual Scott and White Brenham Seniors Day is Wednesday at the Fireman’s Training Center.
This is a time for seniors to get all kinds of free health screenings, gather information about their health during an entertaining day.
Jennifer Mertz, the Director for Education Services at the Hopsital says that while all adults can come to the event, the focus is on senior citizens, those 55 and older.
Mertz says Senior’s Day means health screenings, including bone density, diabetes screenings, blood sugar tests, blood pressure tests and hearing for your next doctor’s visit. She says it is also a great place to get lunch.
Seniors Day also features dozens of informational booths, showing off services from home health to spa care to fall safety.
Scott and White has teamed up with some 60 area health care providers, organizations, businesses and agencies to host this event.
The Scott and White Seniors Day is from 10am to 2pm, Wednesday at the Brenham Fireman’s Training Center.
