THREE ARRESTED ON DRUG AND PARAPHENALIA CHARGES

Cpl. Steven Eilert observed a vehicle parked in a parking lot at Jackson St. Park after curfew on Friday, around 11:10pm.
While meeting with the driver Eilert saw drug paraphernalia, a pocket knife and a large knife protruding from the driver’s seat.
All three occupants, forty-three year old G.W. Haley, Jr,

of Leander, twenty-six-year old Christopher Boyd Baker, of Bastop, and twenty-one year old Johnny Calvin Edmonson, of Brenham were detained and a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted.
During the search, officers located crystal methamphetamine in the car. The knife was shown to have a 10 inch blade, while a second knife had a 6 inch blade.
Haley was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon, and Possession of Drug Paraphenalia.
Baker was charged Possession of a Controlled Substance in a drug-free zone, and Possession of Drug
Paraphenalia.
Edmondson was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphenalia.
