BRENHAM BANDS EARN ‘SUPERIOR’ AND ‘EXCELLENT RATINGS’ DURING UIL CONTESTS

  

The Brenham ISD Bands ended its UIL season for the Spring of 2015, with 28 Superior rating and 2 Excellent Rating from 30 judges.

Brenham High School Band Director Eric Rettig says that the judges for the Junior High band and both high school bands had very complimentary things to say about each band’s stage performances, and how mature they approached and performed the sight-reading music.

Now the preparations begin for the next year, that Rettig refers to as “the biggest marching band Brenham has seen in over a decade”.
