BRENHAM MAN KILLED NEAR MADISONVILLE
A Brenham man was killed and his passenger was injured when the motorcycle they were riding on swerved to miss a pickup truck.
72-year old Stanley “Speedy” Flisowski of Brenham riding a 2012 Harley Davidson was dead at the scene, and his wife Margaret Flisowski was injured and taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
According to DPS, a 2012 Dodge Pickup, driven by Joshua Paul Denman, of Iola, was hauling a trailer and attempted to pass the motorcycle, then get back into his lane traveling east on State Highway 21, 6 miles from Madisonville. Flisowski, trying to avoid the truck and trailer, swerved into a bar ditch.
The accident is still under investigation.
