BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT
On Sunday around 6:25pm, the Brenham Fire Department responded to 409 W Val Verde for a structure fire.
When the fire department units arrived we found a small garage with heavy smoke and flames coming from the door area.
The FD extinguished the fire and was on scene about an hour. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office. The garage was a total loss.
Also on Sunday around 9:15 pm, the Brenham Fire Department responded to 2311 S Market for a report of smoke in a structure.
When FD arrived there was an odor of smoke inside the building. FD advised the occupant to call an AC repair person to check the AC units.
