WEDNESDAY AT THE FAIR TO BE A BUSY ONE
The Washington County Fair continues on Wednesday, with a full slate of activities planned, and large number of children’s events scheduled with school being out for students in the Brenham ISD.
The day begins with the Blessing of the Animals at 7:15 this morning, followed by the Barrow, Broiler, Carcass Hog, Open Brahman Show, Rabbit and Turkey show at 8am.
At 9am, the Commercial Pen Heifer Show and Commercial Steer Show events will take place.
The Children’s Petting Zoo will open at 10am, with Country Creations and the Texas Jr. Anglers Fish Tank and The Texas Parks and Wildlife Critter Exhibit.
At noon, will be the Colt Show, followed by afternoon events such as the Lamb Show at 1 and the Goat Show at 3pm.
At 3:30, the Great Bear Show will be the event, followed by Mechanical Bull riding and the Steer Show at 4:00pm.
At 5:30, the Ag Mechanics show, Texas Parks and Wildlife Critter Exhibit will be the attractions.
The carnival opens at 6:00, and the musical guest for the evening is Flame and Matt Maher for Faith and Family Night, sponsored by KSBJ Special Events and local churches in the Brenham area.
At 7:30 tonight will be the Mutton Bustin’, Bull Riding in the Rodeo Arena.
The Washington County Fair runs through Saturday, September 19th.
