BURTON COTTON GIN FESTIVAL COMING IN APRIL
The 2016 Burton Cotton Gin Festival is set for Friday and Saturday, April 15th and 16th.
On the 15th the festival kicks off with an all-you-can-eat shrimp boil for $30 a person. Sponsorship tables are available for $350 and those tables include 8 tickets. A live auction will also take place Friday at 7pm.
On Saturday there’s free admission from 10am to 6pm and the festivities start off with a Main Street Parade – including the Children’s Bicycle Parade.
Family activities and contests include: bubble gum blowing, pie eating, and seed pulling. There will also be a food court, more than 50 craft booths, tours of the Historic 1914 Burton Farmers Gin, and live entertainment.
