WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AWARD BID FOR SEAL COATING

  

The Washington County Commissioners awarded an annual bid for seal coating for the Road and Bridge Department to H&C at their meeting this morning (Tuesday).

Commissioners Court approved a resolution and designated County Commissioner, Luther Hueske as being responsible for an application to the Texas Department of Agriculture for the purpose of participating in the TDA’s County Hog Out Management Program in May and certifying that Washington County is eligible to receive program assistance.

They court approved a proclamation to proclaim April 2016 as Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month in Washington County. Abigail Rutledge accepted the proclamation for the Sexual Assault Research Center in Bryan.

Commissioners also approved fairgrounds contracts for a dinner fundraiser and the Bluebonnet Cutting Horse Association for 6 weekends in 2017, a re-plat in the Bluebonnet Hills subdivision, as well as accounts payable.
