NATIONAL NIGHT-OUT HAPPENING TONIGHT

  

National Night-Out is taking place all over Texas tonight (Tuesday).

Brenham’s theme this year is “Back in Blue”, which is designed to show support for law enforcement.

National Night-Out was started years ago to build partnerships between citizens and police to combat and prevent crime. It is a chance for police officers to get out in the neighborhoods and meet residents.

Cpl. Chris Jackson from the Brenham Police Department says that this is one of the department’s favorite functions of the year. He went on to say that this past year has been a tough one for those in law enforcement, and police need our community’s support more than ever.
