SCARECROWS COME TO DOWNTOWN BRENHAM

Scarecrows are appearing all over downtown Brenham today (Friday) as the 13th Annual Scarecrow Extravaganza begins.

The Downtown Brenham Association appealed to the public earlier this month when entries for the event were at an all-time low. With the extravaganza in danger of being cancelled, the three entries for the event increased to 26 in just one week.

Representatives from the Downtown Brenham Association are busy at work setting up the scarecrows today (Friday). The public is invited to visit downtown between now and October 30th to vote for their favorite scarecrows.  The winner of each category will win a $150 cash prize.
