CUBS OUTLAST WHITEHOUSE

The Brenham Cubs only scored one run on Friday night, but behind Chandler Jozwiak, it was enough to get the victory. Jozwiak (9-1) was dominant on the mound, pitching a complete game, giving up 0 Runs on 5 Hits with 6 strikeouts. The lone run for the Cubs came from the bat of Zach Marshall who blasted his third (3) HR of the season. The win moves the Cubs to the Region Quarterfinals next week where the will face Leander Rouse, who defeated Bryan 2-1 in their best of three series. All details are still being determined on the series.
