MILL CREEK WATERSHED PARTNERSHIP STAKEHOLDER MEETING JUNE 27TH

  

The Mill Creek Watershed Partnership will be hosting a public stakeholder meeting on the evening of June 27th at the Bleiberville Volunteer Fire Department Hall.

Held from 6-7pm, the partnership is inviting the public to attend and participate in the discussions about the water quality issues around the communities in and around Mill Creek. There will be light refreshments provided.

During the meeting, there will be planning for a Mill Creek Clean up and discussing water quality testing.  In addition, the Partnership will provide updates on implementation activities and discuss educational programs for the fall.

The Watershed Coordinator is Jennifer Cary, and the District Technician is Taylor Marburger. They will be joined by a representative from the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board (TSSWCB), and will be at the meeting to answer questions about implementation efforts through the Watershed Protection Plan (WPP).

Funding for the effort is provided through a Clean Water Act Section 319(h) grant from the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board and the U.S Environmental Protection Agency.

The Bleiblerville Fire Hall is located at 3912 FM 2502 Rd in Bleiblerville.
