EIGHT PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
Eight people plead guilty and were sentenced by Judge Reva L. Towslee Corbett in District court this week.
After a hearing before Judge Corbett, Enrique Hernan Ortiz, age 26 of Brenham had his probation adjudicated and was sentenced to 7 years in prison for an Online Solicitation of a Minor case from January of 2015.
Cedric George Rogers, age 30, of Chappell Hill was sentenced to 4 years in prison for failing to annually register as a Sex Offender.
Christian Leon Johnson, age 31, of Houston was sentenced to 20 months in State Jail for Theft of a Firearm, Attempted Possession of Firearm by Felon, and Possession of Controlled Substance.
Mary Melissa Rickman, age 43, of Brenham was sentenced to 7 months is State Jail for Credit Card Abuse.
Dominik Tyion Mosley, age 22, of Hempstead was sentenced to 8 years deferred adjudication probation, a $1000 fine and 100 hours community service for Assault Family/House Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation.
Rafael Garcia-Martinez, age 34, of Brenham was sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
Jessica Bouley, age 30, of Brenham was sentenced to 4 years deferred adjudication probation, a $1000 fine and 200 hours of community service for Theft of Property with 2 or more previous convictions.
Devin Ian Fillmore, age 22, of Brenham was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation, $1822 in restitution and 150 hours community service for Theft of Firearm.
