TEXAS CITY MAN ARRESTED IN BRENHAM ON PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT

A Texas City man is in custody on an outstanding warrant, following a Brenham traffic stop.
Saturday morning, just before 1:00 a.m., Cpl. Jonathan Phipps stopped a vehicle in the 3400 block of Highway 290 West.
One of the three occupants of the vehicle, identified as 50-year old Robert Spencer Pope of Texas City, had an active warrant out of Texas Pardons and Paroles for a parole violation.
Pope was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked.
