KRAUSE KINDERGARTEN CLASS HONORS KWHI

A Brenham kindergarten class has honored KWHI with special recognition.

Krystal Phipps’ Kindergarten class at Krause Elementary studied Core Values of Gratitude during November.

Principal Courtney Mason challenged each class to choose one place in the community that helps the citizens in some manner.  Mrs. Phipps’ class chose KWHI.

Each day students heard messages about the meaning of gratitude and showing others they are thankful for what they do and say.

Mrs. Phipps’ class presented KWHI with over 20 hand-colored certificates that are proudly displayed in the KWHI studio.

KWHI's Craig Montana posts the hand-colored certificates created by Mrs. Phipps' class.

KWHI President and General Manager Tom D. Whitehead thanked the students for the honor and said, “Since its inception in 1947, KWHI has been proud to serve the citizens of Brenham and the area.”
