BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO REVIEW SUPERINTENDENT THURSDAY

  

Update: Due to the winter weather conditions, the Brenham School Board meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 18th.

The Brenham School Board is scheduled to review Superintendent Walter Jackson’s performance during executive session Thursday.  Trustees will consider Dr. Jackson’s compensation and benefits package.  Jackson’s contract was extended last year until 2020.  His tenure as the Brenham Superintendent began in April of 2015.

Also on Thursday’s agenda, trustees are expected to finalize the Instructional Calendar for the next school year.  Brenham administrators have been working on the calendar with input provided by teachers, community leaders, and parents through a BISD website survey.  Trustees will also hear a report on the Districts Texas Academic Performance.

The Brenham School Board meets Thursday at 6:00 PM at Brenham High School.
