Do you think your children are safe at school? They ARE NOT !!! As an employee in BISD for 15 years I can tell you I’m terrified to go to work most days. The recent national events at schools (Sandy Hook, Florida High School) have to be a wake up call to us all !! We will NEVER prevent these events from happening, all we can do is BE PREPARED, and right now we are not !!
Only one armed officer at the High School ??? The high school has 1500+ occupants everyday.
This is not acceptable at sporting events, weddings, ect, ect…..They have monthly fire drills to prepare for such an event but never have training or drills to prepare for “active shooter” events.
Mass Chaos would ensue !!! Immediate training and preparedness are needed ASAP to protect our children and faculty !!!!!!!!
