NAVASOTA P.D. MAKES BURGLARY ARREST

  

Navasota Police have arrested a suspect after a pair of break-ins at businesses in Downtown Navasota.

Chief Justin Leeth says the suspect has confessed to breaking into Prosperity Bank and Noto's Home and Auto, early Wednesday morning.

While inside the buildings the suspect reportedly caused extensive property damage.

Authorities say they believe the suspect, whose name has not been released, wanted to cause damage to the businesses and was not attempting any sort of robbery.

The investigation continues.
